To avoid damage to the mattress or the risk of personal injury, do not attempt to rotate the mattress by yourself. To help equalise body impressions, please rotate your mattress as part of the maintenance of the product.
- At first your new Sleepyhead bed will feel different from the mattress you have been sleeping on. Don't worry, your body will soon become adjusted to the extra comfort, support and benefits that only the technologically advanced Sleepyhead sleep systems can provide.
- Body impressions (small indentations) are normal on the surface of any new mattress whilst the upholstery filling is leveling to a final position and getting used to your body contours. This does not constitute a manufacturing fault.
- On a pillowtop mattress 35mm height loss is considered normal, and on a non-pillowtop mattress, 25mm height loss is considered normal. However, depending on the mattress, and the user, other impressions of greater depth may occur. Whether this qualifies as a manufacturing fault or not is solely determined by the manufacturer.
- This is measured by removing all of the bedding and placing a straight edge such as a broom across the bed. The gap underneath is then measured. You may be asked to do this by a Sleepyhead representative to ascertain the body impression.
